An Act to revive and continue, for a limited time, an Act passed in the Third year of His present Majesty's Reign, entitled, “An Act to continue an Act passed in the Eleventh year of His late Majesty's Reign, entitled, ‘An Act to authorise the Quarter Sessions of the Home District to provide for the relief of Insane Destitute Persons in that District,’ and to extend the provisions of the same to the other Districts of this Province.” Passed 4th March, 1837.

    This act continues an act first passed in 1830 and most recently continued in 1833, which authorized the Quarter Sessions of the Peace in the Home District to request the District Treasurer to release funds for the support of those insane inhabitants of the District who have insufficient means of supporting themselves. No amendments to the act are made.
