  • Description
    An Act to repeal in part, amend, and continue an Act from 1819, "An Act to repeal certain Acts therein-mentioned and to regulate the Lumber Trade." Under this Act, all licences or commissions for the appointment of Master Cullers or Measurers of Boards, Planks, Staves, Timber, Masts and Spars issued, and the board of Examiners appointed by virtue of the 1819 Act are revoked. A new board of examiners is to be appointed. This Act outlines how they shall be appointed and their duties, including how licenses should be distributed from the passing of this Act. This Act is to continue until 1825.
