An Act to repeal part of, amend and reduce to one Act of Parliament the several Laws now in force in this Province, for the recovery of Small Debts; and to extend the Jurisdiction of the Court of Requests within the same. Passed 13th Feb. 1833.

    This Act repeals certain previous legislation regarding small debt, and institutes a new system for settling the same, provided the debt be less than ten pounds. The new system is to be comprised of a series of Courts of Requests, and to come into effect 1 September 1833.
