    This act grants money to improve the road leading from Hamilton to Brantford, specifically using a process called macadamization invented by John Loudon Macadam which involved crushed stone or gravel. Residents of the area adjacent to the road are subjected to labour in order to maintain the road, or pay a tax in lieu. Various regulations concerning road usage and tolls are also specified.
