  • Description
    This Act makes provisions for the printing and distribution of acts passed in the Legislature of the Province and gives an outline of the responsibilities of several officials to allow for the speedy distribution of printed acts. For instance, the Clerk of the Legislative Council is responsible for distributing the printed acts to the people appointed to deliver them to Parsonage Houses throughout the Province. Upon delivery, the Churchwardens of each parish are responsible for causing public notice to be given. This Act is to remain in force until 1832.
