    This Act makes provision for the appointment of a Secretary, Treasurer, Toll-Collector, and Commissioners for superintending, preserving, and keeping the Lachine Canal in repair. The rates of toll to be charged on the canal are listed. This Act also continues the 1834 Act, “An Act to provide for the making of certain improvements about the Lachine Canal.”
