  • Description
    This act appropriates six hundred pounds annually from the colonial treasury for the next three years, to be used in the encouragement of the whale fishery. This money is to be split into three separate bounties of two hundred pounds, which will be awarded to the vessels who bring in the largest amount of whale blubber or oil.
