    This Act lists the individuals to be incorporated as the ““The Quebec Fire Assurance Company,” and declares them a corporation, body politic and corporate that offers insurance against losses by fire. The company is to continue and have succession until 1865 unless otherwise authorised or repealed. The Act goes on to describe how the company should operate.
