DescriptionAct to allow Members of the Legislative Assembly of former Upper Canada to resign in certain cases. Must give notice of intention to the Speaker who then will allow a warrant for election and if Parliament is not in session, notice must be sent to the Speaker by mail. No member can resign in the first fifteen days of the First Session of Parliament.
