DescriptionThis act grants water lots to the city of Toronto, further to grants made previously to the city, and approves a proposal made by the city council to build an esplanade along these lots. The act also permits rates and tolls to be charged for use of the esplanade once it is built, but specifies that nothing in the act can impede the rights already given to railroad companies or to the parliament buildings established in Toronto.
