    This Act continues and amends the Act from 1821 “An act for incorporating certain persons therein-named, under the name of ‘President, Directors and Company of the Bank of Montreal.’” This Act outlines how the Directors, President, and Vice President of the Bank are to be elected, and their duties. Stipulations on the amount and denominations of current bills or coins to be held distributed by the bank, and allowable amounts of debts owing to the corporation are described. This Act is to remain in force until 1837.
