DescriptionAn Act to allow citizens of Lower Canada within the District of Gaspé rights to resources along the District's shores for the purpose of salting, drying, curing, and readying their fish for exportation. Restrictions and exceptions to this Act, including penalties for those who fail to abide by the tenets of this Act and the procedures by which they are to be enforced, are outlined. Several forms follow follow the Act. This Act is set to expire in 1829.
