    Under this Act, the Clerks of the several Civil Courts of King’s Bench or Provincial Courts are required to record the number of baptisms, marriages, and burials within the Province on an annual basis in order to ascertain the annual increase in the population. The processes by which this is to be done are outlined, including the form of statements to be used.
