    This act, passed by virtue of an under the authority the 1805 act "An Act to provide for the erecting of a Common Gaol in each of the Districts of Quebec and Montreal, respectively, and the means of defraying the expences thereof" grants a further eleven hundred and six pounds. two shillings for the construction of the Common Gaol for the District of Quebec.
