  • Description
    This Act makes further provision for the emigrant hospital at Quebec, pursuant of an Act passed in 1823, “An Act to appropriate a certain sum of money therein-mentioned for the relief of Indigent Sick Emigrants from the United-Kingdom.” This Act grants several sums to the hospital, to reimburse sums expended and to indemnify Jacques Seguin for his professional services, and adds further instructions for how the hospital is to function.
