DescriptionAct to Amend Militia Law. Allows for exemption of Quakers, Mennonits, and Tunkers from the Militia as long as a certificate of religious practice is provided and they pay annually ten shillings in peacetime and five shillings in times of conflict to the Town Assessor. The money is used for roads and highways.
