    This Act amends the 1832 Act, "An Act for making a Rail-Road from Lake-Champlain to the River Saint Lawrence." The Act grants the Champlain and Saint Lawrence Rail-Road company the tight to ferry goods, chattels, wares, commodities and passengers across the Saint Lawrence into the Harour of Montreal. The tariffs that may be charged on such items are listed.
