This act addresses the possible conflicts between servants, labourers,and those who hire them,apprentices and their masters, and specifies penalties for failing to meet contractual obligations. It also clarifies court proceedings for pursuing both employer and employee for failing to meet contractual obligations, whether the contract was verbal or written.
