This is an amendment to an act passed in 1836 called "An Act to provide for the collection of the Revenue of the Province" (6 William IV Chapter 4), nullifying the sixth clause and modifying the twenty-eight, along with adding new clauses granting new powers to local officials in certain jurisdictions.
