DescriptionThis Ordinance restricts who is legally allowed to sign or indorse, or draw any bill, note, bon, check, or other promise or undertaking, for the payment of any sum less than five pounds currency to chartered or recognised banks, as described. The Ordinance also makes provision for bankers to be licenced.
