  • Description
    Under this Ordinance, any person detained for High Treason, Suspicion of High Treason, Misprision of High Treason, or Treasonable Practices can be held without bail while it remains in force. Additionally, certain sections of “An Ordinance for securing the liberty of the subject, and for the prevention of imprisonment out of this Province" is temporarily suspended as outlined. This Ordinance is to remain in force until August next.
