  • Description
    This Act provides for the taking of Enquetes for the Districts of Montreal, Quebec, Trois-Rivières, and the Inferior District of Saint-François after the expiration of the 1824 Act “An Act to provide for the appointment of Commissaires Enqueteurs for the District of Montreal, and other purposes relating to the Administration of Justice in the said District.” Under this Act, these Enquetes are to be taken by a single Judge of each Court of the King’s Bench, whereas the former Act appointed Commissaires Enqueteurs for this purpose. This Act is to remain in force until 1832.
