  • Description
    This Act amends an Act passed in 1829, “An Act for the establishment of a New Market Place in the Saint Lawrence Suburbs, Montreal.” Under this Act, the Trustees for the market place are authorised to borrow a sum not exceeding three thousand pounds to erect the market house or temporary stalls, where they are to keep a fire engine as directed.
