DescriptionUnder this Act, it is made unlawful to mine or blast the rock that forms the Cliffs of Quebec, as practiced by the landowners beneath the cliffs to extend their property at the foot thereof. Penalties for doing so without first receiving assent to do so from the courts are outlined. This Act is to remain in force until 1833.
