DescriptionThis Act amends the 1796 Act, “An Act for making, altering, and repairing the Highways and Bridges in this Province, and for other purposes." The processes by which Road Commissioners, Surveyors, and Overseers of roads, are to be appointed or replaced, and their duties, are described. The rates of allowance to be distributed to several persons who have been employed under a Procès Verbal, as described, are outlined. This Act is to remain in force until 1835.
