DescriptionUnder this Act, one or more commissioners are to be appointed to carry the first section of the 1821 Act, An Act to make further provision for the encouragement of Education in this Province and to amend two certain Acts therein mentioned,” into effect. This Act also makes further provision for the School for the Deaf and Dumb kept by Mr. Ronald Macdonald, including providing a sum not exceeding two hundred and twenty-five pounds to defray the expense of Board and Lodging pupils.
