DescriptionUnder this Act, the last article of an Act from 1777, “An Ordinance for ascertaining damages on protested Bills of Exchange and fixing the rate of interest in the Province of Quebec,” except as relating to rates of interest, is discontinued and replaced for the time in which this Act is in effect. This Act is to remain in force until 1829.
