DescriptionAn Act to defray the expenses incurred by granting sums to religious communities for the support of Foundlings, and towards the relief of Sick and Infirm persons in the districts of Quebec, Montreal, and Trois-Rivières in 1822 and to advance further sums to each district for that purpose. The balances to be paid for each district are outlined. It is also made lawful for Commissioners to bind out foundlings as apprentices.
