DescriptionUnder this Act, the House of Assembly is allowed to appoint three commissioners for the purpose of examining witnesses instead of bringing them to the bar in all trials of controverted Elections or returns of Members to serve in the House of Assembly of Lower Canada. The duties of these Commissioners are described.
