DescriptionAn Act to repeal and replace an Act passed in 1817, "An Act to provide for the maintenance of good order on Sundays and Holidays." The Act redefines the responsibilities of Churchwardens to maintain good order and the penalties those who neglect these duties will be responsible for. Militiamen and Peace Officers are required to arrest anyone found loitering in public houses during the Divine Service. Further penalties for those who offend this act are described.
