Description
An Act to provide an additional sum not exceeding six thousand six hundred pounds to finish building a common gaol in the District of Montreal, as the former Act passed in 1805 "An Act to provide for the erecting of a common Goal in each of the Districts of Quebec and Montreal respectively, and the means of defraying the expences thereof," was insufficient to cover the expenses. The Commissioners for the District of Montreal are required to report on the expenditure of these funds. The former 1805 Act is continued except as altered by this Act.
