An act imposing a duty on foreign wheat imported into the province of Canada, passed with the exception of foreign wheat meant for fisheries and wheat imported from elsewhere in the British Empire, and with the understanding that foreign wheat previously imported into Canada was being shipped to the United Kingdom duty-free.
