    This act allows for the raising of the salaries of certain officers of the Legislative Council and the House of Assembly - namely, the Clerk of the Legislative Council, the Usher of the Black Rod, the Master in Chancery, the Chaplains of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, the Door Keepers of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, the Clerk of the House of Assembly, and the Sergeant at Arms.
