Description
This act amends an act first passed in 1834, which incorporated the London and Gore Rail Road company, giving them the rights to build a single iron or wooden railroad between London and Burlington Bay. The amended act grants them a loan and allows them to increase their capital stock in order to help them complete their building project. It also extends their power concerning land acquisition to include the area between London and Point Edward, and allows other railroad companies to join with the London and Gore company railroad, according to terms to be negotiated between the companies in question. Terms for repayment of the loan being granted are specified.
