  • Description
    An amendment of an act first passed in 1793, specifying the parties responsible for the repairing and maintenance of fences on shared property lines. In the case of fences which divide townships, repairs and costs will be determined by fence viewers. The act specifies the responsibilities of these fence viewers, what responsibilities they have, how they are to determine costs, who is to appoint them and when they are to be appointed, and the sum they are to be paid.
