DescriptionThis act allows a financial advance to the company constructing the canal between lake Erie and lake Ontario so that they can complete the project. The company will be responsible for paying the interest on the loan annually, and the Governor or Lieutenant Governor is directed to sell shares in the company stocks to recuperate costs at the government's discretion.
