DescriptionThis act follows an 1795 act to build beacons and harbour slips in Passamaquoddy Bay, but resulted in large debts. This current act allows for the province to extract money to pay off these debts from the Charlotte County treasurer, and creates a new system of duties to support the maintainence of the completed beacons or those yet to be built.
